575 Riverside Drive, New York, NY 10031

Known as the West Point, and adjoining the Annapolis, 575 Riverside Drive was built in 1908, just a few years after the completion of the IRT subway on Broadway and the Riverside Drive Viaduct (which extended Riverside Drive past what is now Grant’s Tomb).

Built as a luxury building with views high above the Hudson River, it featured a marble lobby, a manned elevator and 36 apartments, most with maid’s rooms containing their own powder room.

The co-op was established in 1984 under the name “575 Riverhouse Corporation”.
